The exceptional new building, Dom Oskar in Kamenná Lhota, was named the overall winner of the 10th anniversary edition of the Interior of the Year 2024 awards. It was designed by MgA. Jan Žaloudek. Finalists included, for example, the ČTK Press Center, and among the winners were a combined kindergarten and senior living facility, as well as an interestingly renovated prefabricated apartment building. The results were announced on Tuesday, April 29, 2025, at the DOX Center for Contemporary Art in Prague.

The awards for the 10th anniversary edition of “Interior of the Year” were designed by the DECHEM studio, founded by the creative and life partners Michaela Tomišková and Jakub Janďourek. Currently, they most enjoy “breathing new life” into shards from failed products and, under the guidance of the BOMMA glassworks, transforming them into original lighting objects. It was during this creative period that they produced the eleven original pieces that the winners took home from the awards ceremony.
