You are the first owners of a newly built detached house in a development in Prague 10 – Benice. What led you to buy a house in this particular development?
In Benice, we appreciate the village-like atmosphere, the peace and quiet, the greenery, and at the same time its location within a Prague district. We like the fact that the development is situated in the heart of Benice’s original built-up area.
Did you have any specific requirements when buying the property? If so, how satisfied are you with the developer’s approach to addressing them?
We’ve largely changed the internal layout of the whole house. We appreciate the developer’s approach and flexibility, which allowed us to make all these changes.
How do you like the architectural design of the development and the location of your new property within the village?
We like the architectural concept of the whole project, which we feel fits in very well with the original built-up area. It ties in nicely with the original Czech village architecture, whilst still being new and modern.
How would you rate the local amenities in the immediate and wider area? We’re interested to know whether you’re satisfied with the availability of shops, healthcare and educational facilities, and other services.
We’re pleased that all services are within a short drive. For example, there’s a wide range of shops in Čestlice, and schools and nurseries in Uhříněves and Pitkovice.
Benice is part of Prague 10. Are you satisfied with transport links to the city centre?
The train stations in Uhříněves and Kolovraty are very close by car or even by bike. We’re looking forward to commuting by train; it’s part of the rural way of life.
