A sensitive renovation that respects the past
When the developer set about renovating the villa, it was clear that a major challenge lay ahead. The aim was not merely to restore the villa to its original appearance, but also to adapt it to contemporary living requirements. Every detail was carefully considered – from the hand-crafted ornamentation on the façade to the casement windows, which were made to measure and fitted with modern double-glazed units. The original sgraffito decoration, typical of First Republic architecture, was recreated using the traditional method of scraping the plaster to ensure it matched the original as closely as possible.
Both the exterior and interior have been thought through down to the very last detail.

Immediately upon entering the villa, the staircase made of Merraza (a special material combining natural marble and modern technology) catches the eye, lending the interior an airy feel and elegance. The kitchen has become the true heart of the home – it is dominated by a worktop made from an exclusive type of quartzite imported from Brazil, which not only looks stunning but is also highly practical. The bathroom, meanwhile, showcases a combination of Italian tiling with elegant taps from the Italian brand Gessi, lending the space a unique style.
