Břevnov is one of the most beautiful districts in Prague, and Bělohorská Street is its main hub – and not just for dining. Come and explore the establishments here that are definitely worth a visit and more than one stop.

Angelato Ice Cream

Ice cream from Angelato has become a legend in Prague, so it’s good to know that this family-run ice cream parlour also has a branch in Břevnov. Here you can sample superb artisan ice cream of the highest quality, made without any artificial additives. Go for one of the creamy flavours or a sorbet, or why not treat yourself to an excellent espresso? And every month they create a different ice-cream speciality.

In line with the latest trends

The IPPA Café chain, known for its cafés serving desserts with a cutting-edge twist, has also set up shop on Bělohorská. As well as their famous lemon, mango and pear flavours, you can also enjoy traditional cream-filled buns here. Feel free to plan a hearty brunch here too – the breakfast menu is truly extensive and you can choose from it all day long.

Coffee and cake

For business meetings, catching up with friends or if you’re looking for a place where you can work undisturbed, Cafe Perdu is the perfect spot. Pop in for a coffee and be sure to try one of the local French-style desserts.

All the flavours of Spain

At the tapas bar Jamonarna, you’ll instantly feel as though you’re on holiday in Spain. You’ll sample the finest local wines, accompanied by tapas, cheeses, chorizo or traditional Jamón ham. What’s more, you can also buy all of this to take home or for your own private event. Or place an order – they even have an online shop where the owners, Honza and Lucka, offer only what they themselves love.

A sure bet for Asian cuisine

Do you love traditional Asian cuisine? Then add the restaurant Aluha to your list, where, in a pleasant, modern setting, you can enjoy superb Pad Thai, Bun Bo Nam Bo, as well as many types of sushi; and in winter, it’s worth knowing that they also serve a fantastic bowl of pho.

You can’t miss out on a burger

You can also pop round to Bělohorská for a burger – and one of the best in Prague, at that. That’s because the bistro Fatfuck Smash Burgers is based here, where you can try very simple yet phenomenal burgers made from organic beef; they also serve hot dogs, and don’t forget to finish off with something sweet, such as apple pie, cookies or cupcakes.
